Description
The non-boost rear hub is the boost's dirty little brother - for older
MTBs, gravel bikes and roadies with a fetish for high engagement hubs!
It features our patent-pending DOUBLE RATCHET SYSTEM
with 120 points of engagement (60 of which are engaged simultaneously) and our unique and rich stereo freehub sound. Once you have ridden a high engagement hub (even on your
gravel or road bike), you will never want to go back - promise!
The other specs are pretty much the same as the boost rear hub's - 17mm axle, large steel bearings and all aluminium parts made of 7075. The freehub body is hard anodized to make the aluminium surface more robust and wear resistant. Hard anodizing gives 7075 its characteristic golden color.
Our hubs are extremely easy to service. No special tools are required for disassembly, maintenance and reassembly. We only use standard sizes for our bearings. This makes it easy for you to get replacement bearings locally if one of them should fail.
